And am a married woman! Life was pretty hectic these last few months, so blogging had to take a back seat. But now that things have some-what calmed down, I will be able to continue documenting my new and improved life…
I remember after we got engaged I felt like a completely different person. From the moment that David got down on his knee, I felt that my entire life had changed. I spent 1.5 years on cloud 9, planning like crazy for this life changing event to happen. Because of this, I thought that after we said I Do that I would feel different. But I definitely do not. Even though my entire life really has changed, I still feel exactly the same. I guess that’s a good thing, it means that I am comfortable with where I am, right?
I am definitely still adjusting. I have only been back at work for one week, but I did survive my crazy commute – there is hope. It’s weird to be seeing David every single day, and I am loving it. I love cooking dinner for us, and that David still packs my lunch for me. I do miss seeing my mom every day, and I miss my dog like crazy. I miss seeing my sister and niece every Tuesday, and am SO thankful for Facetime on the iPhone so I can still watch Kyra grow. Saying my husband is pretty bizarre, and hearing my wife is strange and lovely…
De-bachelorizing the house is a lot more work than I though that it was going to be. Slowly but surely our house is turning into a home. Our roommate just moved out this weekend (finally!) and we are so happy to have it just be the two of us. Our garage is out of control. I plan to tackle it next weekend. We will be hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year, so I have a lot to do in the next few weeks!
It’s actually time for me to go to bed now, so I can wake up at 4:00am and be slightly functional. Just wanted to pop in, say I’m back, and give a peek into my world for a few seconds. We should be getting our wedding pictures back this week, so there will definitely be a post on that soon, along with another post on our fabulous honeymoon. I hope everyone has a great week!
