How Far Along: 38 weeks
Size of baby: Leek. She is supposed to be 19 ½
inches long and 6.8 lbs. According to my doctor, she is smaller than average. As of this week, my stomach was measuring at 35 weeks. We've done lots and lots of measurements and tests, and the doctor has determined that she is healthy and within normal ranges, just in the 10th percentile instead of the 50th or 90th. Right now, I am pretty thankful for her small-ness...

Maternity
Clothes: A few maternity items and my normal clothes.
Weight gain: 28 pounds – I actually lost 2 pounds this last week
somehow.
Belly Button: I now have a outty. It is SO weird to see it protruding out…
Movement: ALL DAY LONG! I am not sure what she is doing in there,
but girl never stops moving during the day. Thankfully she settles down at
night.
Sleep:
Still sleeping pretty well. Lately I have been getting up to use the
bathroom every 2 hours, but I have no problem falling back asleep.
Symptoms:
Nothing out of the ordinary. I have a good amount of energy during the
day, but by the night I am pretty much wiped out.
Cravings: Cold Stone. I want it SO bad, but I have been
refraining… Maybe I will get some this weekend.
Best moment this week: I am officially on Maternity
Leave now, so I have been getting lots and lots done. I have the nursery
complete, baby monitor all set up, car seat installed; now we just need a baby!
