… Was my first day working at my current employer. I was hired as a temp employee and I had no idea what the heck I was doing. My job title was Technical Support Engineer and I knew that I was in way over my head.
… I had plans to be at this employer for 6 only months. My goal was to save up as much money as I could so I could move to Hawaii with my then-boyfriend who was in the Navy (story for later).
… Obviously I was living in la-la land. But I would not change a thing about the path that I took.
… I never would have thought that I would last here long enough to be hired on full time and to receive multiple promotions and awards.
… I never would have imagined that I would be married. And to someone other than my then-boyfriend.
… The thought of having a child would make me break out in cold sweats and want to vomit. Now, I cannot wait for that day to come.
Anywho – my manager sent me a Happy Anniversary note, and it made me feel a bit nostalgic. Funny how things can change so much in a matter of a few years… Happy Tuesday everyone!!!!
